The DTCE is headed by Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, the wife of the General Overseer, Pastor E. A. Adeboye. She is a seasoned teacher with passion for excellence and strongly devoted to thorough educational and spiritual development of every child.

The theme of the 2023/2024 edition is A GRATEFUL HEART. The theme is very significant because God has blessed our children in many ways. 

In this edition, the Directorate of Children’s Ministry has tried to present the topic to the children in simple and practical ways that can be understood by children in different age brackets. Therefore, the ZEAL manual promises to enthuse and keep them enlightened all year round. It is a must-have for every child and young adult.
